AG Barr Designates Three American Cities “Anarchist Jurisdictions” Over Dem Politicians’ Failure To Stop Riots

( Attorney General William Barr designated three American cities “anarchist jurisdictions” owing to the refusal of Democratic leaders to control riots.

According to a report by the New York Post, Barr signed off on designating Seattle, New York City, and Portland as “anarchist jurisdictions” owing to the ongoing violence in the cities. Portland, for example, has experienced nightly violence and riots for over three months.

In a statement on Monday, Barr slammed Democrat leaders for failing to protect citizens from far-left violence.

“When state and local leaders impede their own law-enforcement officers and agencies from doing their jobs, it endangers innocent citizens who deserve to be protected, including those who are trying to peacefully assemble, and protest,” he said.

“We cannot allow federal tax dollars to be wasted when the safety of the citizenry hands in the balance. It is my hope that the cities identified by the Department of Justice today will reverse course and become serious about performing the basic function of government and start protecting their own citizens.”

What do you think – will the Democrats actually care about it, or will they just double down and pretend the riots are still “mostly peaceful”?

In early September, President Donald Trump warned that he was putting mayors of lawless cities “on notice.”

“My Administration will do everything in its power to prevent weak mayors and lawless cities from taking Federal dollars while they let anarchists harm people, burn buildings, and ruin lives and businesses,” he said. “We’re putting them on notice today.

The three Democrat mayors of New York City, Portland, and Seattle all responded negatively at the time. It also prompted New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to threaten President Trump, saying he “better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York.”

Well, it certainly does sound like President Trump would be in danger in an anarchist jurisdiction.

Barr went ahead with the decision after shootings rose by 166% in August in New York City compared to the same period last year. In Portland, shootings increased by over 140% in June and July this year compared to the same period in 2019, and in Seattle, Mayor Jenny Durkan allowed far-left extremists to occupy a section of her city for almost a month.
