Celebs CELEBRATE Supreme Court Ruling, Want MILLIONS Of Illegals to be Granted Citizenship

(AmericanPoliticalDaily.com)- Hollywood celebrities couldn’t contain their excitement on Thursday, after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The Supreme Court, surprisingly, ruled that the program wasn’t illegal, and that it cannot be automatically revoked based on its legal status.

DACA was implemented by former President Barack Obama in 2012, granting 700,000 people (initially) who had entered the United States illegally with their parents when they were children. Today, the number is much higher, with the DACA program giving two-year rolling relief to recipients. That means huge numbers of illegal immigrants remain in the United States, living and working and even accessing benefits and programs designed for legal American citizens.

President Donald Trump rescinded the program back in 2017, but the new ruling from the Supreme Court means it will be kept alive. Supreme Court Justices argued that the Trump administration did not meet regulatory requirements when the program was canceled.

Most of the conservative Supreme Court Justices disagreed with the ruling. Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in his dissent that he believed the Supreme Court failed to offer a “legally correct decision,” and his dissent was echoed by Justices Neil Gorsuch and Sam Alito.

“Today’s decision must be recognized for what it is: an effort to avoid a politically controversial but legally correct decision,” he wrote. “The Court could have made clear that the solution respondents seek must come from the Legislative Branch. Instead, the majority has decided to prolong DHS’ initial overreach by providing a stopgap measure of its own. In doing so, it has given the green light for future political battles to be fought in this Court rather than where they rightfully belong – the political branches.”

Thomas also said that the result of this decision, and the “timidity” of the court, will have a ripple effect “throughout our system of self-government.”

Celebrities, however, didn’t see the nuance of this. They just saw it as an opportunity to gloat and celebrate the idea of millions of illegal aliens potentially finding themselves on the path towards citizenship. If you can stomach it…some of their most boastful tweets are listed below.

Does a single Hollywood celebrity care about the law? Do they think the whole world should be given U.S. citizenship?
