(AmericanPoliticalDaily.com)- Well-known radio host Charlamagne Tha God went off on presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden once again.
The host of “The Breakfast Club” syndicated show was responded to Biden recently calling President Donald Trump the “first” racist president to be elected. Biden’s words were:
“No sitting president has ever done this … No Republican president has done this. No Democratic president. We’ve had racists, and they’ve existed, and they’ve tried to get elected president. He’s the first one that has.”
In response, Charlamagne said Biden was the “Donkey of the Day” for Thursday. He said:
“I really wish Joe Biden would shut the eff up forever and continue to act like he’s starring in the movie ‘A Quiet Place’ because as soon as he opens his mouth and makes noise, he gets us all killed, OK? There’s already so many people who are reluctantly only voting for Joe Biden because he’s the only option and because Donald J. Trump is that trash.”
Charlamagne emphasized recent polls that showed a huge gap between Trump and Biden in terms of enthusiasm people have for voting for them. The host said it’s “not good” for Biden to not have excitement from backers. Comments like he made this week will only continue to make the “lack of enthusiasm” even worse.
“Old white male leadership has failed America, and there is nothing worse than an old white male [who] can’t recognize the faults and flaws of other old white males. Racism is the American way. Donald Trump is not the first. And sadly, he won’t be the last, right? He’s just more overt with his racism than most presidents in recent times.”
Charlamagne said Biden was pushing “revisionist history” when he was claiming Trump was the first racist president elected. He called it “a lie” that “relinquishes America of all responsibility of its bigotry.
“How are we ever going to atone for America’s original sins if we don’t acknowledge them? How the hell can Donald Trump be the first racist president in a country where 12 presidents before him owned slaves?
“Joe, you got to hurry up and announce your Black woman VP so I can be enthused about voting for her, because I will never ever be enthused about voting for you, and you know America is a terrible place when Kanye West seems like a viable option.”
“The Breakfast Club” has long been a popular stop for presidential candidates who are on the campaign trail. The audience for the syndicated radio show is tilted more toward communities of people of color.
But Biden has gotten himself in trouble on Charlamagne’s show once before. Back in May, he appeared on the show for a Q&A session. One of his campaign aides cut the interview short, though.
When Charlamagne started grilling Biden on why he was leaving and said he had more questions, Biden responded by telling Black voters that “you ain’t Black” if you’re still deciding between him and Trump.
