Chinese Political Prisoner STUNS RNC Day 3, Slams Chinese Communists As “Enemy Of Humanity”

(AmericanPoliticalDaily.com)- A Chinese dissident who was imprisoned for seven years by the Chinese Communist Party in China spoke on the third night of the Republican National Convention, telling a horrific tale of persecution and telling the world why we cannot trust China.

Chen Guangcheng, who is blind, is a legal scholar from a rural part of the country spent seven years in prison and under house arrest after Chinese authorities detained him for advocating against forced abortions. China’s one-child rule meant that abortions were commonplace across the country and citizens didn’t have a choice in the matter.

China has since changed the policy and now allows couples to have children, but the authorities in the communist nation are still understood to regularly perform forced abortions. Guangcheng warned the United States what happens when a country is ruled by communists. He thanked the United States for giving him and his family a chance to live in a free country.

“Standing up to tyranny is not easy. I know,” he said. “When I spoke out against China’s one-child policy and other injustices, I was persecuted, beaten, sent to prison and put under house arrest b the Chinese Communist Party.”

He described how in April 2012 he escaped and given shelter in the United States Embassy in Beijing.

“I am forever grateful to the American people for welcoming me and my family to the United States where we are now free,” he said. “The CCP [Chinese Communist Party] is an enemy of humanity. It is terrorizing its own people and it is threatening the well-being of the world.”

It was arguably one of the most powerful messages of the night, and hard for anybody to argue with.

Does anyone think Joe Biden was watching? Will he reconsider his staunchly pro-China stance after hearing these horror stories? Let’s face it, he probably won’t. Having been vice president before, he’ll know all about the terrible things China does. He supports them anyway.

Guangcheng also praised President Donald Trump for standing up to China.
