(AmericanPoliticalDaily.com)- Tesla CEO and Space X pioneer Elon Musk humiliated the Washington Post this week after they attempted to construct and publish a hit piece against him. When the outlet requested a comment from Musk, he responded by telling the reporter to give his “regards to your puppet master.”
In the piece, which has since been published, The Washington Post speculated that Musk moved to Texas to embrace being a celebrity, and wondered whether his Tesla business can “run on Autopilot.”
Didn’t they consider the possibility that Musk left for Texas because California has been run into the ground by Democrats?
The article quotes so-called critics of Musk, who say that his public persona and schedule are “beginning to show in the car company he runs.”
Tesla also didn’t respond to comment from The Post, but Musk’s comment was a targeted dig at the owner of the outlet, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
Bezos, the “puppet master,” is entering the world of electric vehicles, but not from the same angle as Tesla. While Musk and Tesla produce consumer vehicles designed to get the most out of existing battery technology, Amazon is investing in a new line of electronic delivery vehicles with the help of rival EV company Rivian.
In October last year, Amazon unveiled its first custom 100% electric delivery vehicle. The company says that there will be 10,000 electric vans on the road by 2022, with some 100,000 vehicles on the road and delivering Amazon parcels by 2030.
Ross Rachey, Amazon’s global fleets and products director, said that they knew their first Rivian electric truck “needed to far surpass any other delivery vehicle.”
“We wanted drivers to love using it and customers to feel excited when they saw it driving through their neighborhood and pulling up to their home.
“We combined Rivian’s technology with our delivery logistics knowledge, and the result is what you see here – the future of last-mile delivery,” she said.
What do you think…is this cooler than a Tesla Cyber Truck?
The Post article attacked Tesla CEO Musk for some of the comments he made throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and cited an anonymous reporter who claimed that “Musk doesn’t care about you” and will “ruin you.”
