(AmericanPoliticalDaily)- Republican former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee has some harsh words for the Biden administration, slamming the new president as a disaster only days after his inauguration.
In a piece published by the Western Journal, Huckabee said that Biden is attempting to undo President Donald Trump’s legacy of success and that he might face some trouble undoing all the good work of the president.
“They include halting the financing of the border wall (walls provide security at inaugurals, but apparently not at borders), rejoining the World Health Organization (which has really distinguished itself during the pandemic), including non-citizens in the Census count and other things I tried to warn you about before the election,” he said. “But some of these reversals might not be so easy.”
Huckabee said that the biggest enemy of President Joe Biden won’t be the Republicans, but reality. He described how the Democrats have railed against President Trump’s “evil” policies for years while simultaneously enjoying the benefits that came with them, including rising wages, cheap fuel, and peace in the Middle East.
But now, that’s all about to change. Huckabee described how Biden will risk losing all the benefits Trump was never given credit for. And if he does that…well, it will expose the Democrats for what they are.
Dangerous and bad for the economy!
On his first day in office, President Biden canceled the permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline to Canada, immediately destroying around 60,000 jobs.
Senator Ted Cruz echoed Huckabee’s sentiments during a hearing on Thursday, in which he slammed incoming Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg for the plan that would destroy at least 11,000 union jobs.
Buttigieg had little to say, other than that the cancelling of the project would create future jobs in the millions…without providing evidence.
.@tedcruz on the Keystone Pipeline to Pete Buttigieg: “With the stroke of a pen, President Biden has told those 11,000 workers, those union workers, ‘Your jobs are gone.’ Mr. Buttigieg, what do you say to those workers whose jobs have just been eliminated by presidential edict?” pic.twitter.com/QmQnjmuFBm

And while Huckabee slammed Biden as a disaster, he did offer some hope.
“A court has blocked his Department of Health and Human Services from forcing Catholic doctors to perform transgender surgeries,” he said.
“If enough lawsuits are filed, Biden’s agenda could be blocked in the courts until Republicans can take back Congress and the White House,” he added.
With two years to go until the next midterms, when the Republicans could well take back the House, Democrats are up against time to implement their most radical policies while the Republicans are at their weakest.
Could the courts hold the Democrats off until 2022?
