VACCINE By Nov 1? Trump Sends “Urgent” Requests To Prepare Distribution Sites

(AmericanPoliticalDaily.com)- President Donald Trump’s administration is “urgently” pushing states to prepare for vaccine distribution sites to be ready by the beginning of November, suggesting that a vaccine for the Chinese coronavirus could soon be available.

Dr. Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, reportedly sent a letter last week to every governor in the United States making an urgent request for the sites to be up and running by November.

The letter, which was obtained by McClatchy, was sent on August 27 and told governors to fast-track any licenses and permits for the distribution sites to be established. The normal time it takes to grant these permits, the letter said, would be a “significant barrier to the success of this urgent public health program.”

“CDC urgently requests your assistance in expediting applications for these distribution facilities, and, if necessary, asks that you consider waiving requirements that would prevent these facilities from becoming fully operational by November 1, 2020,” it continued.

Redfield added that the waiving of these requirements would not compromise either the safety or integrity of the products being distributed at those sites – namely, the vaccine.

It follows several months of work by American scientists and medical professionals producing a vaccine and performing exhaustive tests to ensure that they are safe. President Trump labeled the efforts “Operation Warp Speed” owing to the fact that the process is moving along more quickly than vaccine efforts in the past.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been positive about the progress being made by scientists in producing an effective and safe vaccine. He confirmed that clinical trials are underway and that they are in the final stages of developing a vaccine. He also said that the final stage of testing could be ended early if the vaccines prove to work.

While the vaccine is moving quickly, there is no evidence it has been rushed. Fauci said that “if you are making a decision about the vaccine, you’d better be sure you have very good evidence that it is both safe and effective.” He also said that he wasn’t concerned about political pressure, and expressed positivity about the availability of a vaccine in the near future.

Could it be that a vaccine is nearly ready? Could we have a COVID-free Christmas?
